Yes it did.
I programmed in B for four years at the University of Waterloo.
Any new subsystems/commands written for a GCOS8 systen, running on a Honeywell 
Level 66 were written in it.
This included the e-mail system.
And, the stuff was marketted to/by Honeywell.
I wrote a few commands for it in 1978/9.
