A decade ago I must confess, you'd also want to be in MODE=SUP (and I
can't remember, perhaps even KEY=ZERO) if you wanted to use RACROUTE's
LOG=NOSTAT to avoid messages, which would be important in an ISPF
environment:-).
If it turns out you need to run in supervisor state or key 0, I can't
over-emphasise how important it is to involve a sysprog in the design
and testing/debugging.
Last time I saw such code it used one one the RAC* macros for checking
User details and we never had time to change it. I guess there's a
RACROUTE REQUEST=INIT to use. No, hang on, is it REQUEST=VERIFY?
