Radoslaw, careful what you are willing to give away - are these tapes completely free of any confidential data? We've gone to the steps of shredding old tapes just to keep the residual information secret.

AFAIK 3490E media (ECCST carts) *cannot* be used in 3480 drives. Is it a problem to buy CST cartridges ? Alternatively you could search IBM-MAIN archives - sometimes people want to give it for free.
