There is also a tool developed by an IBM'er in Italy that analyses SMF records and places the data into a spread-sheet for analysis (contact me offline if you require further info). If you also get a chance, Frank Kyne (IBM Poughkeepsie) has a great 3 day workshop titled "Sysplex Nuts and Bolts Workshop" which is definitely worth attending . Hope this helps .
