It is has been a long time since I set this up, so I may have forgotten a few things. So IIRC:
1) You don't need MVS/APPC setup for APPC3270. 2) You do need a APPN connection between the z/OS system and the PC. As EE is APPN over IP, this should work. I used APPN over LLC (Token Ring) via a 3745-900 and I don't know if that make a difference. 3) There are no APPC3270 settings that are unique in the .acg file. In the .acg file you would only need the "normal" APPN/APPC settings. 4) The only APPC3270 unique setting is in the PCOM settings, the .ws files. In the "IST663I INIT OTHER REQUEST FAILED, SENSE=10010008 256" message, what are the LU names invloved? Now, when I did this I did setup the PCOM side to go through a 3735-900 APPN. I only did this as a test and so it never when into production. I look at the APPC3270 documentation again on Monday and see if anything rings a bell. Opps, replied to the news group first time.
