This was a disaster! JES3 was able to retain one -- maybe two -- fairly decent Indian developers for a while. Those working on JES2 quit very early on. Not sure what the status of the Indian JES workforce is at the moment. But, to make your point, the computers they use are in Poughkeepsie, NY.
