You're cribbing from a Yogi Berra-ism:
Q: What time is it?
Yogi: You mean now?
Pipedream: coerce IBM to not discontinue 3270 IBMLink until
the web version has operated for 6 months with no less reliability.
That said, I abandoned 3270 IBMLink when my employer dropped the
VTAM connection as a cost-saving measure. I believe we now
have TCP/IP connectivity, but I've forgotten how to use it;
don't know the hostname; don't remember my password, etc.
I miss the pre-2000 web version -- I could access it from
just about anywhere with a text-mode browser; use the editor
of my choice; export PMRs as text; import files as text;
all without using a mouse to cut and paste.
I'd still really like to be able to E-mail PMR texts.
