we upgraded our hmc's on the z890 to match our z9 @ 2.9.1 (linux) and there's not too much different. you can do more with right clicking selection but the apperance and feel is slightly different. but the things that you/ops do is the same(ish). we went that want to make it easier to do remote hmc support.

I've been told that we will get a new HMC which is Linux based instead of the old OS/2 based HMC. I've heard that the Linux based HMC is "not as nice" as the OS/2 based version.
