Perhaps I should send microsoft a copy of our daily report which almost
always contains the usual (and most of the time more than one) comments:
rebooted server abc.... (on the TINKER TOY PLATFORM)
did an iis reset on server xyz...., (again..on the TINKER TOY PLATFORM)
.....
meanwhile those pesky mainframes keep working just fine and happy,
thankfully our business and most of our customers depend on them and not on
something that needs to be "IIS RESET" or REBOOTED.
Oh, you're getting an s806 abend?, no problem, let me just reboot the
mainframe. It should be fixed in a few minutes. No further comment needed.
