You could also check out pagecenter from LRS. Don't know about batch
searching but it definitely has search capability. Works with AFP as
well if you need that.

Subject: SYSOUT Archival Product with Content Search capability?

Hi, All,

We occasionally have need to locate a specific item within a set of
reports of varying size and content. We currently use CA-View to
archive these reports, but AFAWCT it does not have a "content search"
capability (like Super-C in ISPF). We currently use IEHIBALL for that.

Is there such a product for z/OS? Alternatively, is there a
Super-C-like add-on product available that might be compatible with
CA-View?

TIA,

    -jc-
