Hello Notty, IBM z/OS does not support dynamic activation of CONSOLxx members. Modifications, such as adding console entries, require the system to be IPL'd.
aside: with SNA MCS support, why do you want to add more console definitions. In my site I am going the other way, removing all CONSOLE entries except SYSCONS, SUBSYSTEM, and SMCS consoles.
