Miklos, you mean "null" CPU usage on a "normal" PU. JNI interfaces are not supported to run on the zAAP.
If you're a developer you can get access to IBM resources which allow you to run some code on the zIIP. I don't know how you get this but perhaps PWD is needed and some pointer from some ISV developer like Ed or Chris. AFAIK It's not that easy as the environment must be an enclave SRB before invoking the WLM service. I know the name of the WLM4xxx service but what wouldn't help without the API documentation. Hi We have some application, using zip compress functions currently written in C++, and consuming a lot of CPU time. In JAVA with zAAP , can I get the same work with "null" CPU usage ? What about the elapsed time ? (In an empty test machine ) (I know everything is depend on ... My point is, if it has sense to convert CPU intensive routines to JAVA or call the proper JAVA functions to exploit the zAAP ) -- Miklos Szigetvari Development Team ISIS Information Systems Gmbh tel: (+43) 2236 27551 570 Fax: (+43) 2236 21081 E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Info: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hotline: +43-2236-27551-111 Visit our Website: http://www.isis-papyrus.com --------------------------------------------------------------- This e-mail is only intended for the recipient and not legally binding.
