John, Don't want to burst the bubble of the Friday-topic... But if you compare the size of the DTS product compared to the Size of CA-7,z/OS,... etc. then I don't think installing z/OS from gzip / pax.Z files are so complex, If IBM had to build the ftp..... additional man hours, additional cost...
