Am I missing something here but what about the special IBM supplied classes for i/o in com.ibm.jzos and others that are not supplied with Sun java. would you not have to download those classes to the work station or use IBM'S java if you are using those special classes.

For programs, that means moving the source to the correct source library, then recompiling it just to be sure that the executable was indeed created from the source. No moving of compiled programs directly into a library.
