You should use PUTLINE, GETLINE and PUTGET for line mode applications.
For full screen applications you should to use TPUT and related
macros. If you use PUTLINE for a full screen command you'll still need
to build the 327- data stream yourself.

No, that's handled by the TMP the same as for line mode applications.
