Just now I tried this under z/OS 1.8 and got GPRs listed in the SSRB that are almost all zeros (except R15 points into my program past the SUSPEND macro). The linkage stack formatted after the SSRB contains a single entry with the saved PSW pointing to IEANUC01.IEAVTSSD+1F24. Like Bill, I don't see the registers or PSW of my suspended SRB formatted anywhere. Strange.

I tried this experiment under z/OS 1.8. On which release are you running your test?
