It is not clear to me who appointed Mr. Comstock to the post of IBM-MAIN
list invigilator or even that such a post exists or should do.

Perhaps this? I have not poured through the assembler options to see how
one tells the binder STORENX. I was trying to find a reasonable explanation
of a PDS directory for load modules. MACLIB(IHAPDS) comes close, but is
missing a clearly defined field for RMODE. I came upon this text in
DFSMS/MVS Version 1 Release 4 Program Management which help you mark you
module not executable: <snipped>
which I received in the usual way. (The newsgroup is fine for those who
find in useful, but I do not myself look at it.)
