Hi Andy I suspect you are changing the name because the OBJ and subsequently the load module have the temporary data set name that SCLM used when the compile was performed. If you check out the new SCLM redbook : http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redpieces/abstracts/sg247392.html?Open there is a chapter on how to use SCLM with Debug Tool such that the OBJ has the correct data set name inserted in it.
I agree that we shouldn't really be editing the OBJ post creation as the OBJ wil no longer be the correct output generated by the compiler. However, it is of course possible if yu wish to go down that path.
