Me too - but isn't that why they went to FBA years before?   I
remember when we were supposed to translate our sort work
recommendations from Count-Key to FBA because it didn't work.

AFAIK FBA devices only worked on VSE and VM so it never got to being supported on MVS (or VS1 for that matter).
