Did they give you any indication of how many other sites if any have
been impacted? I thought it would be flagged CATBREAKER but the
criteria must be a little different that that keyword.

I should have been a little less cryptic - we've got the maintenance
staged, but it's been delayed until the end of August. I was OK with
this
as we'd removed all our catalogs from ECS and initially that's where the
problem was thought to be, but after the update IBM was to make to
OA19870
that "this apar should be applied to systems
that have catalogs with shareoptions (3,4). If you are sharing any of
your catalogs, even without ECS, we are now suggesting that you apply
the
APAR. ", I'm no longer comfortable waiting. I wanted to see how IBM
actually wrote the update & use that as justification to get the date
moved up. I've already gone through one catalog recovery because of
this
and really don't want to do another one. While 'practice makes
perfect',
it's just no fun at all.
