I don't understand that answer. How does BLSR solve the same application problem as a base cluster and AIX? BLSR can keep buffers in memory to speed access, but does not address locating records based on non-primary-key data. Are you suggesting that multiple sequential passes of the base cluster is fast enough with BLSR to be more efficient than an AIX access? I would not believe that for a NY minute.
