If it were extent related, the restore (assuming you mean an SMP RESTORE, not some dataset backup and restore) would not have fixed it, but unless you were at the max number, the IPL would have picked up the new extent. Does anything in the library work, or is the whole thing hosed over? If it effects all modules, is it the same symptom for each module? (That may have already been answered. If so, sorry.)
