I don't want to do marketing's job, but we sell a product ($1,500 per year) that allows you to issue any command (MVS or JES, CICS, DB/2 etc.) at any time of day, any day of week, and on any frequency, (i.e. only on Mondays, or only the first of the month, etc.). It also allows you to schedule JOBs with those same time and frequency parameters.
It's one of our 3 main Automation products, the other two allow scripting of commands based on IF/THEN/ELSE logic and also incidentally time of day. The third one allows you to offload output from the spool and have it managed, and available in a far better way with more options for sending it (FTP, EMAIL, etc.) and maintaining it for long periods of time, (Migrate, backup, etc.) All three of these facilities are available at the same price for the duration of the product roll-out of the new versions of each one, (I think the offer ends in September), but the license charge for the product remains the same for people who purchased under the special offer, even though the normal price goes back into effect for everyone else.
