As has been discussed *many* times before... if you really want it,
you can implement it for your shop with an IEFUJV exit.   So everyone
can stop complaining and run a 2 minute asm/lnk job, issue a couple of
operator commands (or IPL) and get system symbols from a batch
job along with all the caveats that have been discussed to death.
