I have done this in the past using Candle's (now IBM Tivoli's) Omegamon. As far as I know using that or a similar product is the only way to free CSA or ECSA. However, as others have cautioned, you need to be very, very, very sure of how the CSA/ECSA area is being used or you could end up crashing your entire system.
