There is and there isn't, with Deliver you can go directly into a database and we do that with all production jobs, not dev, test etc, When it comes to STCs, SYSLOG etc we go to spool then into the database via a writer or the STC for Ca-View. We call it our development database which from time to time does get backed up so things like syslog (we cut one every 40,000) could be lost depending on when an outage took place.
