See Space Constraint Relief (SCR) under Specifying Attributes to Handle
Space Constraints During Allocation in the z/OS DFSMS Storage
Administration Reference manual. SCR is an ISMF dataclass attribute.

We converted to SCR and remove StopX37 about 3 or 4 years ago. SCR
doesn't handle nonSMS, but we have little nonSMS data to worry about.

Subject: Using SMS to get rid of StopX37

I have read some postings that some shops use SMS to replace StopX37.
If anyone has done this, can you please give me a brief explanation of
how you accomplished this.

TIA
