Thanks for all the responses to the question. Seeing that FDR/ABR is cheaper than HSM/DFDSS and seeing that they include FDRCRYPT in the mix to encrypt my syslogs tapes, I will continue to keep all these ages of tapes. Was not aware of the 10 year requirement in Europe of which we are part when it suits us, so thanks for that bit of info.
