Regardless of your reasons for mucking with the LDA, IMO it is a bad idea.  
You cause the address space to behave in unpredictable ways, perhaps 
casting suspicion on the IEFUSI exit.

I believe that this kind of twiddling with the system is an inappropriate use 
of 
APF authorization.
