I am not sure, but who would do the certifying? The people doing so would not 
know the software from an experts perspective, so I'd question what value this 
would have. Ask other people using the software you are interested in to get 
some good feedback. If its mainframe software most of it is quite stable and 
has stood the test of time.

Hi
I know that it is OT but I am looking to find out what kind of 
certification a big software vendors should or can have.
for example I find that a company can get CMMI certification to show its 
capability in developing softwares.
Are there other such certifications that a big company can get them in 
areas like:
- Support quality
- Their developed Softwares security
- etc.
