The are three LSQA subpools - 253, 254 and 255.

SP255 lives forever. It cannot be cleaned up (safely).

253 and 254 of certain tasks can be released.

Your issue should be with the components that are allocating the storage and
not setting up recovery routines to release them when no longer needed.
