I tried to copy a VB/125 file to a VB/140 file using IEBGENER
and got a RC=12:

DATA SET UTILITY - GENERATE
IEB352I WARNING: ONE OR MORE OF THE OUTPUT DCB PARMS COPIED FROM INPUT
IEB311I CONFLICTING DCB PARAMETERS

I tried the same thing with DFSORT's ICEGENER and got a RC=0.
The records in the VB/140 output data set had the same record lengths
as the records in the VB/125 input data set. That's what I'd expect
given that the record lengths are less than the maximum LRECL and no
reformatting is being done.
