RESET seems to be the only thing that has any effect while the keyboard is locked. (I realize this is getting into terminal emulator idiosyncrasies and VTAMicity.) In any case, don't you believe that whatever works instead of PF12, whether RESET, PA1, ATTN, ... should be the thing that appears in the popup legend, and if the operation can't be cancelled, the legend should omit the misleading entry?
