The console handling In CICS is behaving as previously explained. See the QEDIT Macro. For CICS, Console Commands are handled by a component called Terminal Control under the CSTP System Servives Task. CSTP handles All Terminal driven activity from VTAM and Non Vtam. I believe CSTP is invoked under the CICS QR TCB (Quasi-ReEntrant TCB). As far as I remember You Cannot Modify the Number of Queued Requests for CICS.
