Actually, lawyers know a LOT about the real world. They know that if they sue someone, they can make gobs of money - especially if that someone has deep pockets, and their client has deep pockets. Unfortunately, we (in the US) live in the country with the most lawyers per capita of any other country in the world, and we have more lawsuits than any other country in the world.
