Not really; I once worked in a shop, as a consultant, that had 55,000+
aliases in the MCAT. They pointed to about 30 different UCATS and were
fairly evenly balanced in numbers among the UCATs.
Just curious: how many (estimated) datasets did they have ?
A big number of HLQ's (or more wide: aliases) can be caused by (poor)
naming convention.
BTW: I meant that 2000+ aliases *PER SINGLE USER-CAT* is a lot. This is
not the same as total number of aliases (although I could live with such
limitation if I had to).
