You missed the point. The previous post to mine mentioned that's it's easier to say 'Sorry' than get permission. My post was meant to warn of the possible ramifications of taking that approach. If I tried to describe the change control approach at my former shop, you most likely would not believe it. Some jobs are not worth having. This was one of them.
