If the OP is also interested in post-mortem dump analysis tools (as opposed to just interactive debugging), I'll add a recommendation for Dumpmaster from Macro4 (handles both batch and CICS). My only complaint about that fine product is that it doesn't capture *all* the TCB's in an AS, just the one that abended. At one time I supported a massively multitasking assembler-based application where I needed to see the state of tasks other than the one that died and could not always see what I needed to see when I needed to from inside Dumpmaster.
But then, no other post-mortem tool I'm aware of does that either, though I'm sure I'll be quickly corrected if there is.
