Actually, that does make a little more sense. You say that at the 25th file, a change was put in to have subsequent files go to another tape volume. But how is that done? Do you then call for a specific volser (which is NOT inside the robot)? How do you "force" the 25th file to stop stacking and go to another volume. That is where the problem seems to be.
