True, but assuming we're actually talking about a properly measured and allocated support line item in the budget, a zero price tag results in zero support. *Somebody* has to pay for support, even if it involves volunteer labor hours. (Time is still money.) There are various ways to help keep support prices highly correlated with actual support delivery, but that's a big topic for another day. - - - - - Timothy Sipples IBM Consulting Enterprise Software Architect Specializing in Software Architectures Related to System z Based in Tokyo, Serving IBM Japan and IBM Asia-Pacific E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
