I do the same thing.   I even share the same physical sysres set between
sysplexes that have shared file systems and ones that don't (including 
some monplexes).   Although I don't have any sysplexes that only do 
partial sharing... but I may be doing that in the near future - at least
temporarily in order to satisfy a sharing requirement.
