Whose stack? IBM or CA (I'd guess IBM). FTP client (GET) or FTP server (PUT)? In my personal opinion, this is not really a good thing to test for. I know you likely have a reason to know this. But I'd put the data into a storage class / group based on something else, if possible. Why should a given file created via ftp be in a different SC than the same file, created by the same user, created by IEBGENER or any other batch program? Or one created by IND$FILE (3270 file transfer)? sftp from the ported tools only writes to UNIX files, so it is not a consideration for SMS. I never heard of TECTIA.
