We don't use individual BRODCAST datasets (userlogs) here. There is only one production LPAR (test LPAR is down right now). The system is out of sysplex (running z/OS 1.4). The users who first reported this problem have NOTIFY=<userid> coded in the jobcard.
The initial problem was that users were getting "IKJ55085I UNDEFINED USERID(S)...". This was fixed after SYNChronising the BRODCAST dataset. However, the users are still not receiving the job completion messages for jobs that were submitted after they logged off.
