Two options: - use "QUOTE SITE UMASK nnn" before the MKD - use "QUOTE SITE CHMOD nnn dirname" after the MKD
No shell is involved in ftp, so the shell's "profile" are not of interest. FTPD has a FTP.DATA configuration file that sets the default UMASK for FTP sessions.
