I read groklaw a lot. That's a legal blog. Anyway, one thing that I just read says that MS is developing the next Windows release, called Windows 7. And that there are 1,000 developers on the project, with 1,000 testers. I don't know if that is correct or not. But it got me curious. I wonder how many developers there are for the "core" portions of z/OS, such as the BCP (kernel), DFSMS, JES[23], and other portions. Anybody have a ball park figure?
