Note from IBM. There are potentially 2 scenarios here. The first is when Checkpoint simply goes into a wait/hang condition. For this, APAR OA25786 exists with PTFs currently being built.
The second is when the IHJ000I message is produced with RC14. In order to start the diagnosis on this, I'll need a dump with the following slip; SLIP SET,ID=SLP1,MSGID=IHJ000I,A=SYNCSVCD, SDATA=(LPA,CSA,ALLNUC,GRSQ,LSQA,SWA,PSA,SQA,TRT,RGN,SUM),END Please also increase your system trace table with the following command; TRACE ST,999K Please update the subject PMR when the dump has been captured. The first above scenario occurred under z/OS Release 1.7; but rarely occurred; and is still occurring under z/OS R:1.9. If you force the job out of the System and rerun; it will work without a problem. I would like for us to quit using CHECKPOINT but that is not an option at this time. The second above scenario just started happening under z/OS R:1.9 Thanks for the info. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
