Thanks everyone for your assistance. The command that Larry Crilley provided works. When I issued the command: LISTCAT ENTRY(ucat.name) ALL CATALOG(ucat.name)
It shows me the usercatalog attributes (no catalog error). Where I'm getting confused is when I go to 3.4 to list the usercatalog, it does not show the CATINDEX dataset as being cataloged. I get the following error: IDC3009I ** VSAM CATALOG RETURN CODE IS 8 - REASON CODE IS IGG0CLEG- 42 When I list another catalog through 3.4 the CATINDEX shows as cataloged.
