Unfortunately I did toss it after a while. I didn't know I could use the 1.6 cobol, I was told by IBM that any software we didn't have maintenace with and used that we'd be running illegal software. I thought I 'd reorder when management go things in order. It took a long time before it was cleared up. But is there some kind od "roadmap or recipe" for updaing a system? thanks Larry
