There is also the 't' -- thinkpads (now Lenovo).
I know because I had a T60 & a T90 before they sold off the division.
There was no 't' as the server family. Some product family - maybe, but
not in one line with x p i z.
BTW: x is not Blade only. Some x servers are physically huge machines. I
remember x430 - it was almost as big (and expensive) as mainframe.
Of course Windows on any of x family server presents the same level of
RAS <vbg>
That's what I like to mention: there is "Enterprise edition" of Windows
- it is much more expensive than desktop edition, but it is not any
better in terms of quality, RAS, etc.
BTW2: It is purely academic discussion, but AFAIK IBM used to treat
iSeries as higer than pSeries. I repeat: it is IBM classification, not
mine. It was something like the following:
z - we know
i - midrange
p - mini
x - micro
