The nice thing about standards is there are so many to choose from!

I think you are attacking the symptom, rather than the problem.

Somebody needs to stand up and say "enough already".

Your problem is not a WLM problem.
Rather, it's a lack of control over your programmers.

They should be forced to adhere to some guidelines, or else you are going to be 
editing a lot!
